SilverStone LC-19 Review August 22, 2006
Posted by flung in : HTPC Cases , trackbackIn the furthest reaches of my mind, I’ve been contemplating building a new HTPC system but this time, I was thinking about building a smaller form factor system than the one I had built last year ( you could always see the guide I put together last year over at Krunker.com). The case I was actually looking at last night happened to be the SilverStone LC-19 which was also conveniently reviewed by ModTheBox.com recently. The LC-19 is one thin case measuring 390mm x 68mm x 348mm. You can fit a mini-ATX or a micro-ATX motherboard inside and a PCI card on a riser card since there’s no realistic way of putting a PCI card vertically inside the box. Since you can only put one PCI card inside, it’s likely that I would want to put a dual analog tuner or a combination analog/ATSC tuner card as the PCI card and hope to have a solid integrated graphics motherboard solution. Anyhow, I digress.. the real question right now is - how is the SilverStone LC-19 case? Here’s the verdict:
Overall, I was pleased with the SilverStone LC-19 Slim SFF Case and award a final rating of 7.5 out of 10.
