Here’s another cool new product from Miglia - the new TVMax. With this peripheral, you can now turn your Mac into a powerful DVR system. The TVMax system is designed to complement the Mac mini but it can easily be used with any other Mac system. Key features of the TVMax include:

Watch, pause, rewind, and skip forward Live TV, timeshift on your Mac
Record and edit your favorite tv shows with a built in electronic program guide
One click Apple iPod or Sony PSP support
Hardware compression to MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and DivX
Convert VHS, Hi8 tapes to DVD

The system comes with Elgato’s EyeTV 2 software which lets you view analog television right on your Mac. TVMax comes with hardware video compression which will lighten the load on your CPU.
