nMedia System HTPC 180 and HTPC 280 Case Review October 18, 2006

The nMedia HTPC 180 features:

- Comes in Black or Silver
- Supports MicroATX motherboards
- Uses NMEDIAPC 300 W Super Silent Micro ATX PSU
- 1 - 5.25 inch external bay
- 3 - 3.5 inch internal bays
- 4 slots
- 60 mm silent case fan
- All in 1 card reader
- IEEE 1394 port
- 2 USB ports
- 2 Audio ports
- MCE receiver rack with internal USB Adapter - receiver not included
The nMedia HTPC 280 features:
- Aluminum and Steel case
- Measures 17 inches x 5.25 inches x 16 inches
- Comes in Black and Silver
- Supports MicroATX motherboards
- Uses ATX PSU although not included
- 1 - 5.25 inch external bay
- 3 - 3.5 inch internal bays
- 4 slots
- Non-programmable LCD displays CPU temps and fan speeds
- MCE Receiver rack with internal USB adapter - receiver not included
Here’s the verdict from Bjorn3D:
In conclusion, I rate both the nMedia HTPC-180 and HTPC-280 series of cases with a 8.5 based on my aforementioned findings, and proudly award the Bjorn3D Seal of Approval.
