Sony VAIO VGX-XL202 Review October 18, 2006

- NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GTL graphics
- Blu-ray disk support
- HDMI output
- Silent sub 25 dB operations
- hybrid tuner for both DVB-T digital and analog TV
- Windows Media Center Edition
- Support for Intel Viiv technology
- 500GB HDD
- Wireless keyboard with integrated touchpad and remote control
The verdict is as follows:
This is an impressively specified and well put together Media Center system, even aside from the presence of a Blu-ray recorder drive. On the downside, this feature pushes the price sky high. A fine example of Sony style and technology in action but at this price its only audience will be hardcore enthusiasts.
