Niveus Media Center Rainier Edition Review November 15, 2006
Posted by flung in : Windows Media Center, HTPC Systems , trackbackA few days back we mentioned that PC Magazine posted an article about the top digital entertainment systems out. One of those top systems was the Niveus Media Center Rainier Edition which I thought I’d highlight here.
The Rainier Edition is one of the first Windows Media Center systems to support HD DVD playback. You can configure the system to include up to three television tuners, 7.1 analog and digital surround sound, 400GB of storage space, and video resolutions up to 1080p.
Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:
The Niveus Media Center Rainier Edition 750 HD DVD is the first HD DVD-equipped desktop system we’ve looked at, and there’s a lot to like. Designed for home-theater use, the Rainier features an A/V-friendly form factor as well as connections to your home-theater setup.
