PC Magazine has posted a review of the latest new HP Pavilion desktop PC - the d4650y. This system adds support for Intel’s dual core processors - the Core 2 Duo and features the following:
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor
- HP LightScribe DVD writers
- 7200 rpm SATA hard drives
- Optional PCI TV tuner card with PVR capabilities or you can upgrade to dual tuner cards
- HP Personal Media Drive
- 15 in 1 memory card reader
- Integrated 7.1 channel sound
Here’s the verdict from PC Magazine:
HP’s entry into the Core 2 Duo stakes, the HP Pavilion d4560y, is a high-powered multimedia system for the media enthusiast. It’s strong enough to work on photo, video, and music projects, plus it has the expandable drive space to store your projects with the removable HP Personal Media Drive.
